Sound Dogs Toronto recently wrapped post-production on the upcoming LionsGate release "Skinwalkers". Produced by long time collaborators Don Carmody and Robert Kulzer ("Resident Evil : Apocalypse", "Wrong Turn") this effects-laden horror presented the challenge of customizing creature sounds to suit the werewolf imagery envisioned by Director Jim Isaac and realized by Dennis Berardi's super-talented team at Mr. X. With a combination of treated animal recordings and performed studio vocalizations, designers Nathan Robitaille and Lee de Lang used classic techniques and digital trickery to create the various transformation stages of the 21stcentury Harley-riding beasts.
